Week 4 in the #52WeeksA4A Challenge is about my best vacation. It’s so hard for me to pick the best vacation because they each are special in their own right! I have previously posted about my all-time favorite vacation, primarily because of WHO I was with. For this vacation, I’m going to key in on the WHERE I went that made it so memorable.
I’m a Pacific Northwest girl through and through. I have traveled a decent bit around the U.S, but I’d never been outside of the U.S besides The Bahamas and Canada (but they don’t feel like they count for some reason)! So it was an ultimate dream to go on a European vacation.
The trip started in London, then on to Paris, Germany, and finished in Southern Ireland. There are so many amazing things that I experienced, but most of all that trip gave me an appreciation for the different types of beauty around the world, and the depth of history that we just don’t get here in the PNW.
Click to view slideshow.Highlights from this vacation included walking around London parks, spending time in picturesque Bavaria, kissing the Blarney Stone, and falling in love with Paris. Honestly that city deeply resonated with me and I can NOT WAIT to go back! I could write a whole post on Paris alone.
There is value in seeing firsthand how big (and yet small) the world around us is. I hope when we have a family some day we are able to show it off to our future babies!
